Send your name to the moon
NASA is allowing anyone to send their name to the moon aboard the next lunar mission. A little geeky I know but kind of cool as well. Check it out at http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/LRO/main/index.html

Adobe announced Adobe TV (http://tv.adobe.com) No matter what your adobe vice is, you should be able to find something of interest. I poked around a little pretty cool stuff. Surely worth a visit.
I remember playing around with google trends awhile back. Penny sent me an email this evening trying to figure out what keywords would be better for a site she was working on, and I remembered about google trends. Basically the way it works is you separate the keywords you want to trend using commas. Google returns the trends (search volume) for those keywords and gives you a nice little graph.
A couple I was playing around with
I know these are irrelevant just some interesting information.Play Tetris in Adobe Indesign, download the plug-in from http://www.dtptools.com/product.asp?id=ttin
I discovered this very cool little Final Cut Pro utility called FCP Rescue. This neat little app makes it super simple to backup and restore your FCP prefs, of course you can do it manually; but this makes it so much simpler.
I discovered a very cool website, yelp.com. It is a user driven service review site (ie. restaurants, shopping, clubs) I see it as web 2.0 at its greatest everyone has a voice, and hopefully vendors of these services will start to realize and strive for excellent customer service. Below is my Yelp Badge I only entered a few reviews so far. Damon Ledet's Yelp
I finally got my invite for Joost. Joost is a new technology I was able to check out at the Web 2.0 Expo last month. Joost is a pretty cool way to watch television over the internet. It is by invitation only right now but should be out of Beta soon enough, defiantly a technology to keep an eye on.
I was poking around adobe labs today and for this really cool flash based color theme builder. It has been up since November, but I just happened upon it today. Check out http://kuler.adobe.com.
http://www.satellitesweeper.com/hacking-tivo-and-dvr.htm found this great list of 23 Tivo hacks. Check out the Flickr one it is great.
Check out Goggles it is a flight sim based on google maps. There are only a few cities but it is pretty cool.
